John J. Chirayil, known as Babu, (C.J.John), born as the seventh child on June 6, 1944, at our parents' house at Parayil, about two miles away from the 'tharavadu' house at chirakavala.
After high school he was sent to St. Joseph's College, Trichinappally, Madras for Pre- University studies. Completed pre-professional at St. Berchman's. Studied medicine at Kottayam Medical College, which was under Kerala University at that time.
Babu married Susan Varghese, known as Merina, daughter of Mr. M.V. Geevarghese and Achamma Varghese, of Chenkilathu House, at Chennithala. Mr. Geevarghese was a textile inspector for the govt. of India, and Mrs.Varghese is a homeopathic doctor.
Babu and Merina were classmates at medical college. They were wed at Ettumanoor Christ the King Church on November 27, 1972, and then migrated to USA. As an incidental fact, that was the last time all fifteen children and parents were together at home for an occasion.
They have a son and a daughter.
Babu is practicing internal medicine and Merina is practicing addiction medicine in Queens, NY. Babu and family are currently settled in Westbury, Long Island, New York.

Alice married Dr. Mathai M. (Pappachan) PAMPACKAL, son of Mathai M. PAMPACKAL and Aley PAMPACKAL. Mathai was born in Meryland and resided in Kollappalli . He died 19 Jun 1994 in Kollappalli.

He took his M.B.B.S. degree from Medical College Thiruvanathapuram. He was running a hospital of his own at Kollappally near Pala.

Annie Joseph is born on April 18, 1948 and is the ninth of fifteen children of C.L. Joseph and Thressiamma. Annie graduated from Government High School Ettumanoor. She continued her education at BCM College in Kottayam and graduated with a BS in Botany. Annie also got a BEd from St. Thomas Training College in Palai.

Annie married Dr. Kuruvilla (Mon) JACOB (NALPATHMAKALATHIL), son of Jacob Kuruvilla NALPATHAMKALATHIL and Ponamma JACOB, on 14 Apr 1980 in Ettumanoor. Kuruvilla was born in Madras.

Dr. Kuruvilla Jacob DDS, a graduate of Madras Medical College is the youngest and only son of Mr. N.K Jacob and Ponnamma Jacob  Mangumb, who had settled in Madras.

Annie immigrated to the United States in May of 1980. Dr. Jacob joined Annie in February of 1981.  He attended New York University for his dental certification in the U.S. Dr. Jacob worked at American Medical and Life Insurance.

The Jacob family lives in Queens, New York. Sadly, Dr. Jacob passed away on October 14, 2001, after spending six days in the hospital, from complications due to head injuries caused by collapsing in the Jacob home.
